Ben and Sheri Yau started dancing individually in 1998. When they met in 1999, they became good friends and practice partners. With encouragement from friends, they started competing in 2000 and since then have consistently placed at the top in many national and international competitions including a most recent first place win at the 2005 National Jitterbug Championships. Oh yes, and during this time they got married as well! Starting in 2001, with encouragement from friends yet again, Ben and Sheri started teaching their craft and soon had a supply of local private and group lessons as well as invitations to teach at events around the country. Known for their desire to keep the dance creative, social, and above all else fun, Ben and Sheri take pleasure in making their classes both entertaining and educational.
